Yin yoga works by carefully stretching the fascia (connective tissue) in your body. There are several ways to approach the practice. Some prioritise the anatomy, others work with the meridian lines of traditional Chinese medicine. I focus on working with the breath and the Prana Vayus (Sanskrit for ‘energy winds’) – the subtle energetic impact each shape has on your body and mind.
