The beauty of yin yoga is its simplicity. All you need to practice yin yoga is comfortable, loose clothing, warm socks, a generous amount of cushions, and a blanket to cover up with during Savasana (restorative supine position at the end of each class). You don’t even need a yoga mat, as you can easily practice on a soft carpet, blanket or mattress.
